Thank you for using chungyoora! I wrote this policy to help you understand what information I collect, how I use it, and what choices you have. I welcome your questions and comments on this policy.
What information do I collect?
I collect information in a few different ways:
1. When you give it to me or give me permission to obtain it
When you sign up for or use my products, you voluntarily give me certain information. This can include your name, YouTube or Vimeo account information, the email address you used to sign up, and any other information you provide me.
You also may give me permission to access your information in other services. For example, you may link your Facebook or Twitter account to chungyoora, which allows me to obtain information from those accounts (like your friends or contacts). The information I get from those services often depends on your settings or their privacy policies, so be sure to check what those are.
2. I may share information with my partners and advertisers
I may share information about you and your activity off chungyoora with advertisers, partners and other third parties I work with. For example:
a. Some websites or apps blog chungyoora on their page. If so, I may share your user information with those sites or apps.
b. Online advertisers typically share information with the websites where they run ads to measure and/or improve those ads.
How do I use the information I collect?
I use the information I collect to provide my products to you and make them better, develop new products, and protect chungyoora and my users.
I also use the information I collect to offer you customized content, including:
a. Changing and alternating user interface design. For example, if users have suggested that they want to see changes in chungyoora user interface design, I may change and alternate the user interface to the users' preference.
b. Showing you ads you might be interested in. For example, if you purchased a camping tent on online recently, me and my advertisers may show you ads for other outdoorsy products.
I also use the information I collect to:
a. Send you updates, newsletters, marketing materials and other information that may be of interest to you.
b. Help your friends and contacts find you on chungyoora. For example, I may allow people to search for your information on chungyoora.
c. Respond to your questions or comments.
The information I collect may be “personally identifiable” (meaning it can be used to specifically identify you as a unique person) or “non-personally identifiable” (meaning it can’t be used to specifically identify you). I use both types of information, and combinations of both types, as described above. I may use or store information wherever chungyoora does business, including countries outside your own.
What choices do you have about your information?
My goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices over your information. If you have joined chungyoora, many of the choices you have on chungyoora are built directly into the information you've provide me. For example, you can:
a. Access and change information of your profile at any time, or choose whether others can see your information on chungyoora.
b. Link or unlink your chungyoora account from an account on another service (e.g., Facebook or Twitter).
c. Close your account at any time. When you close your account, I’ll deactivate it and remove your account from chungyoora.
How and when do I share information?
Anyone can see the your user information you required me to post on chungyoora's web page. The other limited instances where I may share your personal information include:
a. When I have your consent. This includes sharing information with other services (like Facebook or Twitter) when you’ve chosen to link to your chungyoora account to those services or publish your activity on chungyoora to them.
b. Online advertisers typically use third party companies to audit the delivery and performance of their ads on websites and apps. I also allow these companies to collect this information on chungyoora.
d. If I believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or chungyoora; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
e. I may engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Policy.
I may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners, advertisers, or others. For example, I may tell an advertiser on chungyoora how many people visited chungyoora' website, or the percentage of people who click on my products after viewing it.
My policy on children’s information
chungyoora is not directed to children under 13. If you learn that your minor child has provided me with personal information without your consent, please contact me.
How do I make changes to this policy?
I may change this policy from time to time, and if I do I’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use chungyoora after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are significant, I may provide more prominent notice or get your consent as required by law.
